In an exclusive interview, Vedang Raina opened up about his journey into the entertainment world and how he is still adjusting to life in the public eye. The young actor, who recently made his Bollywood debut, shared that stepping into the limelight has been both exciting and overwhelming. “I am still getting used to being in the limelight,” Vedang admitted, reflecting on the sudden changes in his life since his entry into the industry.
Vedang revealed that he had always dreamed of becoming an actor, but the reality of fame comes with its own set of challenges. He said, “After my debut, I went on to do Jigra with Alia. I can talk about it now, which feels surreal. It has been an insane journey from my very first day on set.”
He continued, “Working on The Archies was a dream come true at the time. And Jigra was an even bigger dream come true for my second film to be working with the likes of Alia and Vasan [Bala] sir. It has been a huge honour and a huge privilege. I am very excited for this project to come out and for the world to see.” After saying this, Vedang got excited and said, “It has been 0 to 1000 to 2000. So I’m very excited and I’m looking forward to the things that are set to happen in the future.”
“I have always wanted to act, but nothing prepares you for the attention that comes with it,” he said. He talked about the pressure to always look perfect, the constant scrutiny, and the importance of staying grounded despite all the attention.
Vedang also thanked his fans for their support and encouraged them to look out for his upcoming movie – Jigra, releasing on October 11.
