Actor Triptii Dimri has refuted reports that she skipped a Jaipur event the day after the event’s organizers vandalized her posters there and stated the Animal actor had paid Rs 5.5 lakhs but had not shown up. The organizers of the FICCI FLO Jaipur chapter’s Nari Shakti event were observed defacing posters featuring Triptii, who they said had committed to attend but didn’t.
In her response, Triptii stated that no payment had been accepted for the event, contrary to what the organizers claimed. She explained that while her team had been in discussions with FICCI, they had never confirmed her attendance due to scheduling conflicts. She further expressed her disappointment with how the organizers handled the situation, especially with the public defacement of her poster. A statement has been also published by her spokesperson, which states, “During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honored her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film. Notably, she did not participate or commit to participate in any personal appearances or events beyond her promotional duties. It’s important to clarify that no additional fees or payments were accepted for her involvement in these activities.”
Triptii assured her followers that transparency is important to her, and she would never accept payment for an event without fulfilling her commitments. She also emphasized that the issue arose due to a misunderstanding in communication between her team and the event organizers.
Videos that leaked from the event showed the organizers promising to report Triptii Dimri to the police, and then one of the ladies vandalizing her poster while the crowd applauded. “No one should watch her films; the entire Jaipur must boycott her because they commit and then don’t show up. She is not at all worth calling a celebrity.”
