Sonam Kapoor’s Father-in-Law Buys A Luxurious Property in Notting Hill for Rs. 231.47 Crore

Sonam Kapoor’s father-in-law, Harish Ahuja, has made headlines with his recent purchase of a lavish property in London’s upscale Notting Hill neighborhood. The property, reportedly valued at an impressive Rs. 231.47 crore (approximately £22.3 million) reflects the Ahuja family’s growing international real estate portfolio.

The luxurious home is said to be located in one of London’s most desirable areas, known for its beautiful architecture, chic boutiques, and vibrant cultural scene. The property is 20,000 square foot, eight-story residential convent. On the other hand, the Notting Hill neighborhood is also famous for being home to several celebrities and affluent families. Redeveloping a piece of the land to house his son Anand Ahuja and daughter-in-law Sonam Kapoor is one of Harish Ahuja’s ambitions for the site. Presumably, the remaining area will be transformed into opulent flats. Harish Ahuja, a prominent businessman and the Managing Director of Shahi Exports, India’s largest apparel exporter, has already invested in several high-value properties worldwide.

The couple – Sonam and Anand Ahuja got married in 2018. The couple has been spending equal amounts of time in Mumbai and London. Vayu, the son of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, was born in August 2022. Sonam Kapoor, who has been based in London with her husband Anand Ahuja, is expected to spend more time in the UK following this acquisition.
