Veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha has been hospitalized in Mumbai. The news was confirmed by his son, Luv Sinha, who provided an update on his father’s health status.
According to Luv, Shatrughan Sinha is currently under observation and receiving the necessary medical care. He reassured fans and well-wishers that the actor is stable and in good spirits on Sunday, 30-June. Luv thanked everyone for their prayers and support during this time, emphasizing that the family is hopeful for a swift recovery. Luv told PTI, “My father had a strong fever and we decided to take him to the hospital so that he could recover, and we could have his yearly tests done as well.” He also negated all ‘minor surgery of Shatrughan Sinha’ rumors circulating and said, “I have been going there (to the hospital) every day, so (I) can tell you that there was no surgical procedure.”
Shatrughan has had a busy month. He won the 2024 Lok Sabha elections for his party TMC in West Bengal’s Asansol constituency, and on June 23, his actor-daughter Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with Double XL co-star and longtime partner Zaheer Iqbal, a highly talked-about event. When Sonakshi and Zaheer were seen leaving the hospital on Friday, many people were curious as to why they were there.
