Shah Rukh Khan Plans Expansion for Mannat: Adding Two New Floors for ₹25 Crore

Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly planning a significant expansion to his iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, by adding two new floors at an estimated cost of ₹25 crore. According to reports, the Bollywood superstar’s wife, Gauri Khan, who is also a renowned interior designer, has already sought permission for the construction from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Gauri Khan, the actor’s wife, has submitted an application to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) in order to expand the house by two stories, totaling 616.02 square meters. The project is expected to cost Rs 25 crore, according to the article. On Wednesday, a committee led by Pravin Darade, the principal secretary for the environment, will make a decision about Gauri Khan’s application. On November 9, the application was submitted. Villa Vienna was the previous name of Mannat. After filming a sequence at Bandstand for the film Yes Boss, Shah Rukh Khan grew to love the historic structure, which was constructed by Nariman K. Dubash in 1914. In 2001, he bought the property.

While the process is still in the initial stages, this development has created a buzz among fans, with many eagerly awaiting glimpses of Mannat’s revamped look. Known for its unique architecture and celebrity status, the mansion is set to become even more iconic after the addition of these new floors.
