Sequel to ‘Aitraaz’ in the Works: Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, and Kareena Kapoor Return

The iconic Bollywood thriller Aitraaz is set for a sequel, according to director Subhash Ghai, who confirmed the news during a special celebration of the film’s 20th anniversary. The sequel will bring back Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, and Kareena Kapoor, who were pivotal to the film’s success. The script for the sequel is reportedly already ready, marking a promising development for fans of the 2004 hit.

Praising Priyanka Chopra, Subhash Ghai wrote, “BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL PRIYANKA CHOPRA DARED N DID IT. That’s why cine lovers cannot forget her performance even after 20 years today in #AITRAZ – produced my Mukta arts… When she was too apprehensive to do this role of an ardent ambitious woman but did it with full confidence.” And now recently the filmmakers have announced Aitraz 2’s making, “Now MUKTA ARTS is ready for AITRAZ 2 with a finest script with 3 years of hard work Just wait n watch.” Aitraaz has been a popular romantic thriller that blended elements of crime, passion, and drama, and the sequel is expected to continue in the same genre. Ghai, known for his knack for storytelling, expressed excitement about revisiting the complex characters and intense narrative. While no official release date has been confirmed, the anticipation for this sequel is already building up.
