Seema Sajdeh recently opened up about breaking the news of her relationship with businessman Vikram Ahuja to her son, Nirvaan. In a candid conversation, Seema shared that her priority has always been her children’s well-being, especially her son Nirvaan. She explained that she handled the conversation with honesty, wanting to ensure that Nirvaan felt comfortable with her choices. Seema revealed, “My most comfortable conversations about my life are with my son because I know I am going to get the God’s honest truth from him. He knows that I hold him in the highest regard and that his opinion matters to me and what he feels matters to me. Both my children are my priority. I won’t do anything in my life which isn’t okay with my kids. At the end of the day, whatever I do will have a ripple effect on their lives and it is my responsibility as a mother to them. It is cathartic for me to have these conversations with Nirvaan. It helps me see things clearly.”
Seema chose to elope with Sohail Khan after being first engaged to Vikram Ahuja 24 years prior. The two went on to have a 24-year marriage. They separated amicably after filing for divorce in 2022.
Reflecting on her journey, Seema shared how she aimed to keep things transparent with her son, making sure he was aware and okay with her personal life. Her decision to introduce Vikram to Nirvaan was important, as she believes maintaining open communication with family is key.
