During the filming of the upcoming project Heeramandi, actress Richa Chadha was seen indulging in some playful banter with her co-star Sharmin Segal. In a light-hearted moment captured on set, Chadha jokingly remarked to Segal, “I don’t think you and I should sit next to each other.”
The interaction between the two actresses showcases the unique relation that actors share while working on the same project.
Talking about the toughest scene, Richa also shared, “The script is loosely literally like an instruction. Lajjo does a big final dance, but you don’t know that it is going to be shot over eight days, or how stressful, complicated, difficult or enjoyable it would be. I had no such big responses after reading the script.”
Hereby, Sharmin added, “There was a scene in which I had to cry for 4 days. I was supposed to cry from morning to night. By the 4th day, my eyes were like potatoes. Dance sequences are probably challenging with Sanjay sir. To reach Sanjay sir’s level of expectation in dance sequences or to even do one percent of what he asks of you is monumental for us. Then we want to go lie down.”
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Heeramandi is winning on the Netflix chart due everyone’s such intricate performances and unique and compelling narrative.
