Prime Video India has officially announced the development of the second season of its Hindi original series, ‘Dupahiya’. Set in the fictional village of Dhadakpur, the heartland comedy became a favorite among viewers for its sharp humor, engaging characters, and portrayal of small-town life. The first season received widespread acclaim from both audiences and critics.

The series is created and executive produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under Bombay Film Cartel LLP. Writers Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg have crafted the narrative, with the first season directed by Sonam Nair. The ensemble cast includes Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Bhuvan Arora, Sparsh Shrivastava, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma.
