Pooja Bhatt Responds to ‘Boycott Bollywood’ Trend After Stars Support Palestine

Bollywood actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt has addressed the resurgence of the ‘Boycott Bollywood’ trend on social media, following several stars extending their support to Palestine. The trend began anew as celebrities expressed solidarity with Palestine amidst the ongoing conflict, drawing mixed reactions online.

Reacting to the situation, Pooja Bhatt took to her social media to share her thoughts. She emphasized the importance of freedom of expression and standing up for humanitarian causes. Bhatt pointed out that supporting a cause should not lead to backlash against the entire film industry, urging people to focus on the larger issues at hand.

She took her X account with a screenshot and wrote, “And it begins YET again! The price the entertainment Industry pays for speaking up collectively for the atrocities being committed in Palestine.”

Her comments come after a wave of criticism targeted Bollywood celebrities for their political stances. Despite the controversy, many stars have continued to voice their opinions, emphasizing their right to speak out on global issues.
