Typically, the house buzzed with her daughter and her friends’ lively energy, but this time, there was a heavy silence.” After that, Neelam’s daughter Ahana approached her, questioning, “Mama, you never told me you were divorced.” Neelam struggling to find the right words, replied, “First of all, how do you know?” Ahana said, “Well, you’re a celebrity, and my friends and I were Googling you. The first thing that popped up was that you were divorced. You were married.” Neelam wished her daughter had learned it in a different way.
