Renowned film producer Madhu Mantena has announced the establishment of his new production company, ‘Mad Man’. The name ‘Mad Man’ combines the first three letters of his first and last names, symbolizing unpredictability and adventure, which he aims to bring to his future film projects. He revealed his expectations for Mad Man, “Mad Man not only conveys the mood of unpredictability and adventure, which would be the hallmark of Madhu’s future film productions but is also derived from the first three letters of Madhu Mantena’s first name and surname.”
Madhu Mantena is well-known for his significant contributions to Indian cinema, having co-founded Phantom Films, which produced acclaimed movies such as ‘Queen’, ‘Masaan’, ‘Udta Punjab’, and ‘Super 30’. After restructuring Phantom Films, Mantena’s new venture, Mad Man, is set to introduce a lineup of films for the 2026-27 period, focusing on innovation and grandeur. The company plans to introduce new talents while collaborating with leading figures in Hindi cinema, aiming to advance Indian cinema without stagnation.
