Madhu Chopra, mother of global icon Priyanka Chopra, has confirmed that their production house, Purple Pebble Pictures, has officially relocated to the United States. Speaking in a recent interview, Madhu emphasized how this move aligns with Priyanka’s expanding international ventures. Despite this strategic shift, Madhu hinted that Priyanka remains committed to Bollywood and has exciting projects in the pipeline.
Purple Pebble Pictures has been a significant part of Priyanka’s career, focusing on regional films and giving a platform to unique narratives.
Madhu Chopra shared, “Purple Pebble ab America chala gaya, toh abhi hum yahan India mein kuch nahi bana rahe, but God willing, Priyanka aaye India, but abhi kuch plan nahi hai.” (Purple Pebble has moved to America, so right now we are not making anything here in India. But God willing, if Priyanka comes to India, we’ll see, but there are no plans as of now.)
Madhu shared that this transition would not limit Priyanka’s engagement with Indian cinema, reassuring fans that Bollywood remains an integral part of her career.
