Nitanshi Goel, the young star of the upcoming film “Laapataa Ladies,” recently opened up about her experience working with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. In an exclusive interview, Nitanshi expressed her admiration for the veteran actor, describing him as “extremely humble.”
Reflecting on her time on set, Nitanshi shared that working alongside Amitabh Bachchan was a dream come true. Despite his towering stature in the film industry, Bachchan’s humility and kindness left a lasting impression on the young actress. She confessed, “When I first came to Mumbai, my first ever ad film which I featured in, was with Amitabh Bachchan sir. Of course, there were other kids, too, but there was also a sequence which featured just him and me. So, he came up to me and said, ‘Chalo hum lines rehearse karte hain’.”
Nitanshi was particularly struck by his willingness to offer guidance and support, making the experience both educational and inspiring. She continued, “Woh apne ghootnon pe baith gaye aur mere saath lines padhne lage (Amitabh Bachchan sir knelt and rehearsed the lines with me). I was seated on a chair. He wanted our heights to be the same while going through our lines. I thought he was extremely humble.”
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao co-produced Laapataa Ladies, which debuted in theaters before streaming on Netflix in April. On Netflix, the movie received a record 13.8 million views.
