Kareena Kapoor Pondering on Her Academic Ambitions, “Thought I’d Be a Lawyer, I Went to Harvard”

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor recently shared surprising details about her academic journey, revealing that she once aspired to be a lawyer. In a candid interview, Kareena reflected on her days as a student and her brief stint at Harvard.

Kareena Kapoor, known for her iconic roles in Bollywood, disclosed that she was a diligent student with dreams of pursuing law. ” was a good student. I thought I’d be a lawyer.” When asked about the time she took up a summer course at the prestigious Harvard, she said, “Yeah, it was summer school. I am very proud of that, that I went to summer school at Harvard. It’s Harvard, I mean, I’ve got a photo on that campus (chuckles). I thought I’d be a lawyer, I went through this weird phase but (the acting bug) that can’t keep you away,” she said, adding that she even took a summer course at Harvard University. This experience, however, was short-lived as her passion for acting eventually took over.

Kareena’s decision to switch from academia to acting was influenced by her family’s strong ties to the film industry. Despite her initial academic aspirations, she found her true calling in acting and has since become one of Bollywood’s most celebrated actresses.
