Kangana Ranaut, known for her bold statements, recently opened up about the struggles she faces in Bollywood. The actress claimed that she has been boycotted by the industry, making it difficult for her to collaborate with others. In a candid conversation, Kangana shared that working with her is not easy, partly due to the pressure and scrutiny she constantly faces.
Kangana explained that her public relations (PR) team had to take drastic measures, even imposing an “emergency” protocol, to manage the challenges of handling her public image. Despite these efforts, the actress admitted that she is often labeled as “difficult” to work with, a tag that she believes stems from her refusal to conform to industry norms. She said, “I have faced many obstacles while making this film, which is common with every film. Every film faces a lot of obstacles and then they find many angels who support you through those obstacles. I want to say a special thanks to my cast. Everybody knows I have been boycotted by the film industry. It’s not easy to stand with me, it’s not easy to be part of my film, and it’s definitely not easy to praise me. But they have done all of it.”
The Queen actress, who has often been at odds with prominent Bollywood figures, highlighted that her outspoken nature and strong opinions have led to her being sidelined in the industry. However, Kangana remains unfazed, stating that she is determined to continue working on her terms, regardless of the obstacles.
