The National Award-winning actress – Kangana Ranaut opened up about the challenges she faced while making Emergency, revealing that several attempts were made to halt its release. “I was completely devastated. I thought maybe it will never see the light of the day,” she admitted. Reflecting on past obstacles, she added, “Because there was earlier a film on Mrs Gandhi called Kissa Kursi Ka. I thought maybe it’s jinxed or something that you can’t make a film on her.” Kangana also shared how personal investments and numerous hurdles left her feeling disheartened during the process.
