Actress Kangana Ranaut and veteran actor Arun Govil are set to enter the political stage as they contest Lok Sabha elections in 2024 on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tickets. The decision was announced by BJP’s West Bengal President Dilip Ghosh.
Both Kangana Ranaut and Arun Govil have been vocal supporters of the BJP and have expressed their interest in actively participating in politics. The move marks a significant step for the two celebrities, transitioning from the world of entertainment to the realm of politics.
Queen movie Actress took her twitter account and expressed her joy by stating. ““My beloved Bharat and Bhartiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janta party (BJP) has always had my unconditional support, today the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Loksabha candidate from my birthplace Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency) I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Loksabha polls. I feel honoured and elated to officially join the party. I look forward to be a worthy karyakarta and a reliable public servant. Thanks.”
Kangana Ranaut, known for her outspoken nature and nationalist views, has been vocal about her admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his policies. On the other hand, Arun Govil who has been BJP member since 2021, known for his indelible portrayal of Lord Ram in the television series Ramayan.
