In a shocking revelation, actors Geetha Vijayan and Sridevika have come forward with serious allegations of sexual harassment against well-known Malayalam film director Thulasidas. The two actors have accused the director of inappropriate behavior during their time working together in the film industry.
Geetha Vijayan, a seasoned actress in the Malayalam film industry, shared her experience, stating that Thulasidas’s behavior was unacceptable and created an unsafe environment on set. She said that she felt scared and uneasy when director Thulasidas banged on her hotel room door repeatedly. She was threatened with having her role in the movie and purportedly omitted from significant meetings after confronting him about his actions. She expressed her disappointment, revealing that she had to endure this treatment while trying to maintain her professionalism.
Sridevika, another actor who worked with Thulasidas, echoed Geetha’s sentiments, claiming that she too was subjected to inappropriate advances by the director. She said that she felt harassed and violated by Thulasidas’s continuous late-night knocks on her hotel room door. She said that the director remained unpunished even after reporting the event to the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).
In reaction to these claims, Thulasidas has angrily denied any misconduct. He asserted that neither Chanchattam nor Avan Chandiyude Makan’s filming involved any unpleasant experiences.
