Recently, Bollywood celebrities Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, and Honey Irani were seen casting their votes in Mumbai. The trio, known for their contributions to Indian cinema, joined the ranks of voters participating in the local elections. Farhan Akhtar, an accomplished actor and filmmaker, arrived early at the polling booth, followed by his sister Zoya Akhtar, a renowned director. Their mother, veteran actress and screenwriter Honey Irani, also made her way to the polling station, showcasing the family’s commitment to their civic duties.
Mumbai Bollywood celebrities Rajkummar Rao, Jahnvi Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Akshay Kumar, and others went out early on Monday morning to cast their votes in the Lok Sabha elections in Mumbai. “I went to cast my ballot with the goal of seeing India grow and become a powerful nation. After casting his ballot at a Juhu polling place, Kumar stated, “All Indians should consider what is right for them and vote.”
Kumar has never before cast a ballot after obtaining Indian citizenship.
Akthar told PTI, “My vote is for good governance, the government that looks after all the people, gives us a better city,” as he waited in line to cast his ballot at a Bandra West polling place.” The actor-director encouraged everyone to cast a ballot, especially the younger generation.
