Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan recently shared that he distanced himself from the film industry following the death of his father, legendary actor Feroz Khan, in 2009. The loss deeply affected him, and he felt the need to step back to find closure and heal emotionally.
Fardeen explained that his father’s passing left a significant void in his life, prompting him to prioritize family and personal well-being over his career. This break allowed him to process his grief and focus on rebuilding himself away from the spotlight. Now, with a renewed sense of purpose, Fardeen is preparing to make a comeback in Bollywood. He believes that his time away has given him the strength and perspective needed to return to acting with a fresh mindset. He shared, “I had a lot of questions, like, will filmmakers be able to slot me into a role? Do people even want to see me?” He further explained that the Indian films nowadays are directed and written differently from the films made in 2000. Fardeen added, “I came back with the mentality of literally starting off a new career.”
