Dino Morea, reflecting on the glory days of his career, reminisced about his time filming “Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.” The actor revealed that the producer had suggested changing his name to Siddhant. Recalling the post-release frenzy, Morea shared how girls would often pull his jacket due to the film’s popularity.
In an interview, Morea opened up about the incident, shedding light on the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the industry. Despite the name change suggestion, Morea remained true to his original identity, opting to keep his birth name. He said, “The film brought together a completely new team, including producers and director, musical duo Vishal-Shekhar and Shaan, cinematographer and my co-actors Sanjay Suri and Rinkie Khanna.”
“Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi,” released in 1999, marked the actor’s debut in Bollywood. The film, directed by Raj Kaushal, gained a cult following for its youthful charm and catchy music. Morea’s portrayal of a college student struck a chord with audiences, catapulting him into the limelight. Dino Morea, who was first apprehensive about accepting the part, gives credit to actor-model Mandira Bedi and the film’s director Raj Kaushal for their support and encouragement. Working on the film with Shailendra Singh, Dino discovered the joy of acting despite having no professional training.
