In terms of his career, Ali works in the Pakistani film industry. His final Bollywood production, Dear Zindagi, starred Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. For those who do not know, following the incident in Uri, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) agreed in 2016 not to collaborate with Pakistani artists. But lately, a petition to prevent them from working in the nation was denied by the Bombay High Court. Ali hasn’t disclosed any Bollywood projects since then.
