Bollywood star Akshay Kumar recently shared insights into the life of his son, Aarav, revealing that he left home at the age of 15 and chooses to live a simple, low-profile lifestyle. Unlike many star kids, Aarav is not interested in pursuing a career in Bollywood. In an interview, Kumar described Aarav as a “very simple boy” who prefers wearing second-hand clothes and values a minimalist lifestyle. Despite being the son of a prominent actor, Aarav has distanced himself from the glitz and glamour of the film industry.
He admitted, “My son Aarav is studying at the university in London. He left home at the age of 15. He was always fond of studying and wanted to stay alone. It was his decision to move even though I didn’t want him to go. However, I could not stop him because I left my home at the age of 14.”
Akshay proudly revealed further, “He does his own laundry, he is a good cook, does the utensils and doesn’t even want to buy expensive clothes. In fact, he goes to a second-hand store, Thrifty, to buy clothes because he doesn’t believe in wastage.”
Kumar expressed pride in Aarav’s choices, emphasizing the importance of individuality and simplicity.
