Aditya Chopra, the head of Yash Raj Films, is reportedly keen on signing Ayan Mukerji as the director for the next installment in the Dhoom franchise, Dhoom 4. Sources reveal that Chopra has been highly impressed by the initial footage of Mukerji’s upcoming action film, War 2, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
The insider said, “Aditya Chopra is very happy with the footage shot for War 2 and has verbally discussed his intent of making Dhoom 4 with Ayan Mukerji. The director is also charged up with the idea, but has his baby, Brahmastra also lined up.”
He added, “He has requested for some time from Aditya Chopra, as he wishes to focus on War 2 at the moment, and then discuss the future of Brahmastrawith Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Jio Studios, before committing to Dhoom 4.”
This upcoming movie will hopefully bring together Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR in the same coup. A known source recently told Pinkvilla, “Yes, it’s absolutely correct information. NTR Jr. is locking horns with Hrithik Roshan in War 2 and it’s going to be an epic action adventure.”
Fans of both War and Dhoom are eager to see how this unfolds, hoping for a thrilling ride with Ayan at the helm of Dhoom 4.
