Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly gearing up to play an assassin in his upcoming film King. The film is said to be directed by Atlee, who previously worked with SRK on the successful action-thriller Jawan.
In King, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to take on a gritty and intense character, diving into the dark world of assassins. The movie promises to deliver high-octane action scenes and gripping drama, with SRK’s character embarking on a deadly mission. Writer Rahul Raut, also known as X, revealed the latest information regarding Shah Rukh Khan’s role as an assassin on Twitter.
In addition to creating excitement, the actor’s announcement that he will be returning to a role with a gray hue also caused an earlier remark he made at the Locarno Film Festival in August 2024 to go viral. When it came to playing a villain, SRK added, “I think I have a new way of playing a bad guy,” during the Locarno Meets event, which Khan was also present at. The recent talk about him taking on similar positions with King seems to have given the comment more traction.
Regarding King, the movie is anticipated to have a large ensemble cast, with Abhishek Bachchan portraying the true adversary. In addition to Suhana Khan, actor Abhay Verma of Munjya fame will play a significant role.
