Alia Bhatt recently confessed that she isn’t particularly proud of her acting in her debut film, Student Of The Year. Reflecting on the 2012 movie, she admitted that her performance fell short and that she wasn’t satisfied with her work back then. However, despite her own reservations, Alia still wishes for her daughter, Raha, to watch the film one day.
Alia told the media, “I want Raha to watch Student Of The Year because it’s the youngest and the most chill film a kid could watch. It was my first film, and though I’m not very proud of my performance in it, it’s full of songs, and I think she would really enjoy that.” She added, “I want her to watch Ranbir’s Barfi. I think it’s very child-friendly… yeah, Barfi is a good choice.”
The actress explained that Student Of The Year holds sentimental value for her as it marked the beginning of her journey in Bollywood. Alia expressed that while she may not be proud of her initial performance, the film represents a significant moment in her life and career.
She hopes that Raha will someday appreciate her growth as an actress and see how far she has come since her debut, recognizing the film as a special milestone. ‘
