Veteran actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda recently underwent an emergency surgery, and the news has prompted an outpouring of support from Bollywood. Leading the way, actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha was among the first to visit Govinda after the operation, showing his care and concern for the beloved star. Besides, Shatrughan Sinha, David Dhawan, Jackky Bhagnani, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Kriti Kumar also visited.
Early on Tuesday morning, Govinda unintentionally shot himself in the leg with his licensed revolver, resulting in a bullet wound. As per the Mumbai Police, the incident happened at approximately 4:45 AM when he was returning the gun to its cabinet. Govinda was getting ready to travel to Kolkata at the time of the occurrence.
According to reports, Govinda is now in recovery and is being monitored closely by doctors. While the details of the surgery have not been disclosed, the actor is said to be in stable condition.
