Kangana Ranaut recently shared that Salman Khan had offered her lead roles in two blockbuster films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. However, Kangana declined both roles, feeling that the characters didn’t align with her vision as an actress. She expressed surprise at the offers, reportedly saying, “I was like yeh kya role diya hai?” (What role have you given me?).
Kangana stated, “When Salman offered me a role in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I was like, ‘Yeh kya role diya hai?'” in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. (What job is this?). He then approached me for Sultan. I didn’t take that up. He was like ‘What more do I offer to you now?” he asked. She went on to say that Salman has been incredibly nice to her, even though she has turned down parts in his movies.
Kangana emphasized her focus on choosing roles that challenge her creatively, indicating that the offered roles didn’t meet her expectations.
