Veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini has added another feather to her cap by winning a seat for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Known for her illustrious film career and successful political journey, Hema Malini’s recent victory marks another significant milestone.

Hema Malini has been a Member of Parliament from Mathura since 2014, and her consistent victories highlight her strong connection with the constituency and her popularity among voters. In 2014, Hema Malini ran her first Lok Sabha campaign from Mathura. She defeated Jayant Chaudhary, the head of the RLD, by a margin of 22.65% to win the seat. In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, she ran for the seat once more. This time, she defeated RLD’s Kunwar Narendra Singh, who received 34.26% of the vote, with a commanding 60.88% vote share.
