Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor recently shared her experience of filming intimate scenes for her upcoming movie “Mr and Mrs Mahi.” In a candid interview, Kapoor revealed the emotional and psychological challenges she faced while shooting these scenes, describing the process as making her “feel like dying inside.”
Kapoor, known for her dedication to her craft, emphasized the vulnerability actors endure during such moments on set. She explained that despite the professional environment, the act of performing intimate scenes can be incredibly taxing and uncomfortable. The actress acknowledged the importance of these scenes for the film’s narrative but didn’t shy away from expressing the emotional toll they take.
Answering to one of her fans on Reddit regarding the romantic shoot sentiment of the movie, she wrote, “Most of mine and Raj’s romantic moments in the movie, me and him were completely exhausted. Like I think one of our first romantic moments were after 20-hour shift and both of us were feeling like dead and we had bad tummies, our bodies were broken and then we had to look like we were falling in love and we were gonna have our first kiss but really we were feeling we were dying inside.”
“Mr and Mrs Mahi,” which stars Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is eagerly anticipated by fans.
The movie is set to hit theatres on 31st May 2024.
