Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has fired back at fellow actress Mumtaz over a recent remark regarding ‘failed marriages.’ Aman responded to Mumtaz’s comment, asserting her stance on the matter.
In a recent interview, Mumtaz reportedly made a comment about ‘failed marriages,’ which was perceived by some as a veiled reference to Zeenat Aman’s personal life. Aman, however, has addressed the issue directly, expressing her disagreement with Mumtaz’s statement. She candidly reacted to the post shared by Zeenat Aman “Zeenat should be careful with what she is advising. She has all of a sudden come into this huge social media popularity, and I can understand her excitement about sounding like a cool aunty. But giving advice that is counter to our moral values is not the solution to increasing your following.”
Zeenat’s post was – “Here’s a personal opinion I haven’t previously shared – if you’re in a relationship, I strongly recommend that you LIVE TOGETHER before getting married!
This is the same advice I’ve always given my sons, both of whom have had, or are in, a live-in relationship. It just seems logical to me that before two people get their families and the government involved in their equation, they first put their relationship to the ultimate test.”
Zeenat Aman defended herself against Mumtaz’s remark, stating that she does not appreciate such comments about her personal life. The actress emphasized that she has always maintained a dignified silence regarding her relationships and expects the same respect from others.
