Suchitra Krishnamoorthi Expresses Pride in Shah Rukh Khan, But Tired of Constant Questions About Him

Actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, known for her role in the film “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa” (KHKN), has expressed pride in her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. Krishnamoorthi acknowledged Khan’s achievements and contributions to the film industry, highlighting her admiration for his success.

Among Shah Rukh Khan and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi’s most well-known flicks is Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa. Since its 1994 premiere, the movie has remained a beloved classic among viewers. The movie’s lead actress, Suchitra, talked candidly about the Kundan Shah-directed picture and her co-star, Shah Rukh Khan, in a recent interview.

Suchitra Krishnamoorthi said, “Of course. Everybody knew that he was destined for greatness. I’m exhausted answering questions about him frankly. But cannot seem to avoid that either.”

In the same interview, she talked about how, even though she was successful in her early career, she has been picky about the assignments she takes on. The actress revealed she doesn’t take her notoriety seriously.

She told Zoom interviewer, “It’s the thing I enjoy least about my profession, and I find it intrusive. If I could find a way to do good work and stay anonymous outside the workplace it would be ideal for me. But that is impossible in the performing arts. Yahaan jo dikhta hai woh bikta hai (what you see is what sells).”

However, Krishnamoorthi also revealed feeling “exhausted” by the constant barrage of questions she receives about Shah Rukh Khan. Despite her respect and admiration for Khan, Krishnamoorthi expressed frustration with the persistent focus on him in interviews and conversations. Krishnamoorthi hopes to be recognized for her own talents and accomplishments, rather than solely being associated with her co-star.
