Comedian Sunil Grover has addressed rumors surrounding his alleged feud with Kapil Sharma, dismissing them as a “publicity stunt.” Grover jokingly remarked that their supposed fight coincided with their realization that Netflix was entering the Indian market.
In a lighthearted manner, Grover poked fun at the speculation surrounding his relationship with Sharma, suggesting that it was all part of a grand publicity strategy. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive outlook and not taking such rumors too seriously.
Just before the Netflix release, the cast of The Great Indian Kapil Show, which stars Archana Puran Singh and other comedians in addition to the four comedians, had a press conference. When asked about his reported fight with Kapil Sharma during the same, Sunil Grover responded with a joke about how they had chosen to stage a fight to get some publicity because Netflix was just arriving in India at the time. He clarified, “We were seated on the flight, and we learnt that Netflix was coming to India. So, kuch aisa ho ke (we all wanted it to be something like) publicity stunt ho.”
But they have never discussed the incident together.
