Actress Rhea Chakraborty recently opened up about the court’s decision regarding the Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) case. In a candid conversation with media, she shared her thoughts on the matter.
On Thursday, 22 February 2024, the Bombay High Court annulled the LOCs issued against actor Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and their father Indrajit Chakraborty, an Army veteran, for their involvement with the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Manjusha Deshpande felt this unexpected decision and questioned the arguments of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by stating, “The LOCs are quashed and set aside. We have dismissed your [CBI] arguments on maintainability.”
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020. The postmortem report and investigations by the Mumbai Police and a forensic team from AIIMS Delhi determined that the official cause of death was suicide by hanging. Chakraborty expressed gratitude for the help she received during difficult times. She highlighted the necessity of remaining strong and positive in the face of adversity. The actress’s comments came amid continued talks about the SSR case, which has sparked widespread public interest since the actor’s tragic death.
