12th Fail Movie Reopened Iconic Jadooz Cinema In Kashmir After 33 Years

12th Fail Movie directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and highlighted by Vikrant Massey has earned critic’s warm reviews. This 2024 Bollywood movie marked 91% Rotten Tomatoes and 9.1 IMDB rating. The movie not only appreciated in Hindi speaking regions of India, but in South and East India, it has been greatly applauded for natural acting and eponymous work of a true hero – Manoj Kumar Sharma.

12th Fail Great Success In Kashmir

12th Fail Movie reopened the doors of historic Jadooz Cinema in Baramulla, Kashmir after a remarkable 33-year hiatus. This monumental revival coincides with the release of “12th Fail,” a film celebrating resilience and second chances, making the occasion even more symbolic.

What Happened With Jadooz Cinema?

Jadooz Cinema, once a vibrant hub of entertainment, fell silent in 1991 due to unrest in the region. But thanks to the tireless efforts of the local community and filmmaker Nitin Kakkar, the cinema has been lovingly restored, preserving its heritage while incorporating modern amenities.

The reopening night held special significance with the screening of “12th Fail,” a movie resonating deeply with the Kashmiri spirit. Lieutenant Governor Baramulla Minga Sherpa reopened Jadooz Cinema for public once again and the the joyous atmosphere echoed with cheers and nostalgia.
